MANGROVE PRESERVATION

Mangroves play an important role in preventing coastal erosion and protecting against large waves. Their extensive root systems trap sediment and stabilize shorelines, which helps to prevent erosion caused by tidal currents, storms, and waves. In addition, the dense network of roots and trunks creates a physical barrier that can absorb the energy of incoming waves, reducing the impact of strong currents and high tides.

Mangroves also have significant ecological benefits, such as providing habitats for a wide variety of plant and animal species. They are important breeding and nesting grounds for many fish, birds, and other wildlife, and help to support the overall biodiversity of coastal ecosystems.

In addition to their ecological benefits, mangroves also contribute to the fight against climate change by sequestering large amounts of carbon dioxide. The dense vegetation of mangrove forests absorbs atmospheric CO2 and stores it in the soil and biomass, reducing the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This makes mangroves an important natural solution for reducing carbon emissions and mitigating the effects of climate change.

Overall, our company realize the protection and conservation of mangroves are crucial for the health and sustainability of coastal ecosystems, as well as for the well-being of local communities that depend on these resources.
